When does the Töwi sail?

Departure times vary with the tides, water level and weather. Only the sailings currently shown in the booking system are available for booking.

Is the Töwi independent of the tides?

No. Our fast ferries have a shallower draught than the large island ferry, but they still need sufficient water to sail.

How long is the crossing?

The crossing between Norddeich and Juist usually takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Weather, water level and route can affect the journey time.

When should I arrive?
